I noticed a similar issue with the out energy pylon on my tier 8 the crystals on it charge, to about 7Mil rf then just slowly discharge and despite the core having power (several billion) the pylon stops requesting energy. Not tried breaking the glass (the draconic equivalent to turning it off an on again I guess lol) but will try after work

The energy core can be filled with 9223372036854775807 rf (2^63-1 rf), this is a large number, now: assuming you have 250 million rf/t production (Yes, I know, 99.9999% of people will never have this production rate, that''s why i''m using it) it will take (2^63-1)/(250000000*20*60*60*24*365.25) years to complete, this is 58 years!

Probably The Best Solution Is The Tier 8 draconic energy core, but is expensive, you can also make the induction matrix multiblock from mekanism, its easy and with an automation (from ae2) you can autocraft the cells really fast
